Our client is a leading trade union that connects a diverse network of professional associations across all sectors in Singapore. Their mission is to empower workers of all backgrounds—regardless of collar color, age, or nationality—by providing access to better job opportunities and higher wages.

Through advocacy for fair labor practices and skill development, our client fosters a stronger workforce and healthier communities, ensuring that everyone can achieve their professional aspirations and enhance their quality of life.

Background

  • The client was using a third-party vendor's HRMS system as a SaaS-based application for their HR operations. The customer aimed to enable self-service capabilities for both employees and managers, as well as facilitate cross-module integrations.
  • The organization maintains over 1000 employees. The key business challenges include:
    • Decentralized data across various modules.
    • The current HRMS system is highly customized in an unstructured manner.
    • There is a need for a global solution that provides lower administrative costs and ensures consistent processes across the organization.
    • The client expects full control over the system rather than relying on a SaaS model, especially concerning confidential data.
    • Existing employee data needs to be migrated as it is, without manual intervention.

Solution

  • The following modules have been implemented: Employee Central, PMGM, RCM, ONB, LMS, and Compensation & Succession.
  • We used the SAP standard solution "InfoPorter" to migrate existing employee master data to SuccessFactors.
  • Our team thoroughly analyzed all current HR business processes and challenges, adopting a consultative approach for each business solution.
  • In the PMGM module, we configured a multi-hatter review mechanism that defines cross-module roles within Employee Central.
  • Additionally, we ensured integration with SAP S4 Payroll and several other applications.
  • SAP CPI is utilized for integrations and offers data monitoring capabilities.
  • The cross-module integrations in SuccessFactors are extensively used to create a robust solution.
  • The entire program was implemented over a span of 10 months, followed by 2 months of hypercare support, as recommended by the customer based on their internal roadmap.
